Description: The Congregation Beit Simchat Torah will occupy the base three levels of an existing landmark building. Transformation of the existing condominium space into a synagogue consists of significant structural work including cutting and shoring of existing slabs to accommodate new elevator shaft and stairs, new 2,700 SF mezzanine, architectural cast in place concrete canted wall at the back of the building with custom 46 foot long skylight on top. New 3 stop elevator will to be installed as well. The 16,000 SF gross area of the community center features 19 foot tall ceiling Sanctuary, classrooms for young children, offices and conference rooms.
